Hi, I’m Steph
I've spent the last 12+ years designing apparel, building collections and turning ideas into product across the surf, swim, active and lifestyle industries. I've worked both in-house and independently, which has given me a unique perspective on what it actually takes to move a collection from a great idea to something that's ready to be made, sold and worn.
I created Steph Collective to give brands experienced design support without necessarily adding another full-time hire. Whether you need someone to take the reins on a collection or simply step in where your team needs an extra set of experienced hands, I work as an extension of your team—bringing thoughtful design, technical know-how and a genuinely collaborative approach to every project.
When I'm not designing, I'm happiest spending time with my family, traveling, getting outside or somewhere near the beach. Design has also never really been something I know how to turn off—I'm constantly noticing the little things, mentally redesigning something, or thinking “okay, but what if we did it this way?” Occupational hazard, I guess. I genuinely love what I do, and I think the best work happens when good ideas, good people and a little bit of fun are all part of the process.
